I am writing to thank you for building our new home. The process of finding a lot, designing the plan, and finally completing the project was easy and without any major issues. The final result is a house we are very proud to call home.
Everyone that comes to visit us has commented on: the quality of the workmanship, colors, interior and exterior finishing. When asked about how long it took to build, they are impressed with how quick it was completed. I also can say most of the budget overruns were based on doing it “right” and not using inferior products. The results speak for themselves.

Re:  Seascape Manor – condo renovation

We called Mike after we saw the spectacular renovation his company performed on a home of some friends and even though we had a much more modest renovation in mind he and Lavona were as excited about making the changes as we were.

Mike and Lavona were so positive and helpful during the whole process.  When we were having trouble deciding on finishes, they invited us to tour their own home to see the finished results of certain lighting effects, tiles and surfaces that we were considering. 

Since we live on the mainland, we weren’t around to view the project on a regular basis, however, Mike and Lavona gave us status updates, digital pictures by phone or email often.   If we were coming over on a weekend, Mike and Lavona made themselves available to meet with us to discuss any concerns.  Mike’s crew was very helpful and friendly and very conscious of the particular complications involved with working on strata developments.

WOW!  What a house…no, make that what a home!  You have spoiled both me and my Mom, as well as Tuula, Kody, Kai, Aja and Madison.

I kept hearing all sorts of nightmare stories from people who have used other builders, but this experience was nothing but incredible.  I learned a lot about the construction process, met some wonderful people and reconnected with both of you, where did those 27 years go?

I was just speaking with a friend the other day and she asked me how the build went and what bad experiences I had (notice she said what bad experiences did I have, not did I have any bad experiences – she expected to hear some horror stories).  I told her that absolutely nothing went wrong – I attribute that to having  complete trust in you.  I can’t imagine working with someone if you didn’t have that confidence, always wondering if things were being done and if they were being done correctly.

You walked Mom and me through the entire process, listened to what we had to say, and provided a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of the home.  You took all our comments and concerns into consideration, and you realized the importance of keeping our beloved pets in mind when designing the home.  You stayed in constant touch with me, keeping me updated and letting me know if there was anything I needed to do.  The dedication to detail shown by everyone who worked on the house was spectacular.

Moving my Mom from her home of over 40 years to a much smaller suite could have been extremely traumatic, but because of the special care you showed her it was a smooth transition.  You treated her as if she was your own Mom (yes, I’ll share her with you Lavona).  She enjoyed the entire process, from deciding on changes to the layout of the suite to what type of flooring she would like.  I think she felt like she had some new sons, Trevor and Tyler (or Spider as she called him – not sure if she even knows Tyler’s real name – lol) being her favourites (don’t worry Mike, you came in a close third, except when Ben the dog was there….then ya got bumped to fourth buddy!).

Thank you all for everything, we couldn’t have asked for more.  Mom and I are extremely proud to say that we live in a Chahley home…you fulfilled a dream that I didn’t even know I had.
